# Terms of Service — SyncBy!App > **Last updated:** June 2026 SyncBy!App ("we", "us", "the Service") is a peer-to-peer presentation tool operated by Bartosz Kulczyk. By accessing or using the Service at syncby.app, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. ## 1. Service description SyncBy!App is a free, browser-based tool that lets you show PDF slides or images on a separate screen via a short PIN and either a direct WebRTC peer-to-peer tunnel or, when P2P is unavailable, an encrypted WebSocket relay. We do not require an account. ## 2. Acceptable use You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Service to: - Present content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or that promotes violence or discrimination. - Attempt to disrupt the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or use it to attack other systems. - Bypass rate limits, attempt to enumerate PINs, or otherwise interfere with other users' sessions. - Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law (including GDPR, the Polish Personal Data Protection Act, and copyright law). We may suspend or rate-limit abusive sessions without notice. ## 3. No warranty The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted availability, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at any particular time. ## 4. Limitation of liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to EUR 0 (zero). ## 5. Session content Slide content never reaches our servers (see [Privacy Policy](/privacy)). You retain full responsibility for the content you present. We do not monitor, store, or back up presentation content. ## 6. Intellectual property The Service, its name, logo, design, and source code are our intellectual property. You retain ownership of all content you present. By using the Service, you grant us no rights to your content. ## 7. Third-party services When the Service establishes a direct WebRTC connection, it uses public STUN servers (such as Google STUN) for peer discovery. No presentation content is transmitted to or via these third parties. WebSocket relay mode does not use any third-party services. ## 8. Changes to the terms We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. ## 9. Termination We may discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time without prior notice. We are not obligated to retain, return, or migrate any data (though we do not retain presentation content in the first place). ## 10. Governing law and jurisdiction These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Poland. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent common court in Poznań, Poland. If you are a consumer, you may also rely on the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence. ## 11.
